Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film, was her first performance. It took a long time to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller character. This was not easy for Amy because she had to move from modelling into performing. Models aren't thought of as great actors, so they usually get smaller, insignificant roles. Amy did her best to get noticed and she eventually landed larger parts beginning in The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. She then ventured into the lead roles in the 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy found her recognition after more than 10 years trying.
