Amy Smart is a former American actress and model. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modelling profession in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film which was her first film role. It was a long road for her to star in Starship Troopers in a smaller part. It was very difficult for her to make the transition from modelling to acting as the models were never believed to be actors and tended to be assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. Amy was determined to succeed and was eventually offered larger roles starting in The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. In 2005, she was cast on the lead role in The romantic comedic film Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized for the role she'd been seeking more than a decade. Amy was in several big movies in the Crank trilogy opposite Jason Statham. And she had a part in a series of recurring roles on Shameless. Shameless series.
