Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and vocalist. She is an attractive, intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. Following a string of appearances on popular television series and movies, she gained fame for her role on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. Following a dramatic rise in popularity, the actress got roles on the big screen like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. Her performance was outstanding in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. At the same time, she was also in lead roles in some film that did not make the top of the charts, like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then, she was a voice actress for animated films including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's tiny screen role on Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. The role she played in the critically-acclaimed police drama Southland has helped her regain recognition as an established actress. Liu chooses her roles with care so that she doesn't become a typecast character in this competitive industry. While she's proud of her heritage, she does not let it limit her imagination.
