Sheryl Underwood is a comic, television host, and performer from the United States. She's best known for her work as The Talk's co-host on the daytime. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by an extremely difficult household. She spent most of her young life caring for her sister Frankie who suffered from polio. She was in trouble with her mother while growing up. Sheryl claims that once her mom cut her father for being too close to him. Sheryl joined military after graduating from college. Her passion was comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV professional career started in 1992 when she was a guest actor on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. The host was on TV in the year 2000 on Oh Drama! In 2011, she began appearing in The Talk as co-host. In addition, she has a fictional role in popular shows such as Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
